Dragon VE Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Nguyễn Ngọc Bảo Long ("we"), the publisher of Dragon VE. By installing or using Dragon VE you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not install or use the software. The Vietnamese version prevails if the two differ.

1. Licence

• We grant you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Dragon VE on your computers, for personal or commercial work.
• Dragon VE is closed-source software. We keep all intellectual property rights in it, except for third-party components listed in the third-party licences shipped with the installer.
• You may not: sell, rent or redistribute Dragon VE; decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer it except where the law allows; disable, bypass or tamper with its licensing, task counting or key activation; share, resell or trade keys.

2. Free editor and agent features

• Every video editing feature of Dragon VE is free.
• An "external agent" is third-party AI software (for example Claude Code or Codex) that drives Dragon VE over its control channel (dragonctl). Any control of Dragon VE from outside the application, including your own scripts, counts as an agent.
• An "agent task" is a group of commands that change the project, sent no more than 3 minutes apart, for at most 45 minutes. Commands that only read, look, capture frames, play back or move around the timeline are not counted. A task in which every command failed is refunded.
• Free plan: for 14 days from the first agent use on a machine, unlimited tasks (500-task abuse limit); after that, 30 tasks per calendar month (Vietnam time). We may change these numbers and will announce it in the app before it applies.
• Pro plan: unlimited agent use for the period bought (month or year), activated with a key. A key works on at most 2 machines at a time; deactivate an old machine to move it.
• Counting tasks and checking keys requires an Internet connection while an agent works. What is sent is described in the Privacy Policy.

3. Payment and refunds

• Buying a key: email dragonve4@gmail.com or message Dragon VE on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61594653223574), Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/dragon_ve_/), X (https://x.com/BaoLong_dr) or Threads (https://www.threads.com/@baolong_dtgm). These are the only official sales channels. Pay by Vietnamese bank transfer (QR code) or PayPal; the key is sent to you once the payment has arrived. Current prices are quoted when you get in touch.
• Pro purchases are not refunded, except where the law requires it. Use the free 14-day trial before buying.
• A key expires at the end of the period bought. The machine then returns to the free plan; your projects and data are not affected.

4. Your projects and content

• Projects, media, audio and everything you make or bring into Dragon VE belong to you (or your licensors). We claim no rights in them.
• Dragon VE processes projects and media on your machine. We do not receive copies of your content.
• You are responsible for having the rights to the media, music, fonts and assets you use.

5. Third-party agents and services

• External agents are provided by third parties under their own terms and policies. What you send to an agent (requests, images, project information) goes to that party by your choice and does not pass through us.
• We are not responsible for results, errors or costs caused by third-party agents. Save and back up your projects; Dragon VE asks before operations that can lose work and takes a backup before running them.

6. Updates and changes

• We may update the software and these terms. When the terms change materially, Dragon VE shows them again for you to accept before agent features continue.

7. No warranty; limitation of liability

• Dragon VE is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we do not warrant that it is error-free or fit for any particular purpose.
• To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, data loss or lost profits arising from use of the software. Our total liability does not exceed what you paid for Pro in the last 12 months.

8. Termination

• If you breach these terms, in particular section 1, we may revoke keys and stop granting agent tasks to the machines concerned.
• You may stop using Dragon VE at any time by uninstalling it.

9. Governing law

• These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Disputes are first settled by negotiation, failing which by the competent court in Ho Chi Minh City.
